Yep, and the McCourtney Fire is raging near Grass Valley with west side of town in the dark and structures burning.

There are also two (at least) additional fires southeast, one of which is now pushing into Bangor proper.  Evacuations in progress, immediate need.  VERY low on resources.  This is the Cascade fire, started in Yuba and took off.

Please keep us posted, Pamela. I know via Twitter that it has jumped Highway 70 and gotten established on the other side and growing. Then there is the life hazard firestorms in LNU right now.

CHEROKEE FIRE Wind driven fire, running amok, 0-600 acres in about half an hour and still running.  NASTY area, top of Table Mountain, lots of folks with lots of animals being evacuated, additional fire just reported up in the Berry Creek area, high fuel, wind driven, needing a lot of resources we don't have.

Keep us in your minds, 'cause we're going to need it!
