Congratulations to the Hawk Marching Band for taking 1st place in class 4A at the 2016 Pageant of Bands! The Hawk Band also received the Peoples Choice Award and band member Matthew Sanchez received the outstanding soloist award. To all the members of the Volcano Vista Marching Band—Congratulations! Come support the band this Saturday at our state competition, which is held at UNM stadium. The Hawk band plays at 3:28pm.
TEACHERS: The Federal Impact Aid Survey is in your boxes for your 4th period or 5th students, please pick them up, hand them out, and get them back by Friday
SENIORS: Campus Specialties will be on campus Tuesday, October 25 from 11am - 1:30pm outside of the activities office to take your orders for announcements and cap & gown.
CLUB PRESIDENTS: there will be a meeting of all VVHS Club Presidents on Wednesday, October 26 to discuss events on campus.
BOWLING: Attention all freshmen this announcement is your invitation to represent Volcano Vista by joining the bowling team. No experience necessary. With a strong nucleus already on the team there is still room for about 20 more team members. Practices are ongoing at Tenpins and More every Tuesday and Friday at 4:00 pm. Come on out and have some fun.
DECA: Did you know, over 3 million animals are euthanized in America every year? More than 90% of animals are considered healthy and adoptable. VVHS DECA is hosting a donation drive to help out Watermelon Mountain Ranch. They are a no-kill shelter so they become easily overpopulated and need our help. You can find a list of items that they need along with donation boxes in H111, H208, E214 and the Library. Cash donations are also accepted. Thank you in advance for your donation.
