Spotted the pyrocumulus from Lowell today just as the Crane fire here (Butte county/BTU/Oroville) broke, knew it was big and bad.

Aircraft shutting down for the night; BIG plans for attack in the morning (STILL ordering stuff). From the descriptive of the hand/dozer lines in place, they've been BUSY and will be busy ALL night long...
