07/25/2015 1852 CA-MEU Orr fire: 20 acres, 10% contained burning in oakwood land, west of Ukiah. 07/25/2015 1830 CA-NEU Lowell fire: 3,000 acres, 0% contained. Crown fire with long range spotting. Structure threat continues with evacuations. 07/25/2015 1830 CA-HUU Queen fire: 200 acres, 20% contained. Reported now as 6 fires as 3 fires have merged. Numerous logging cut blocks are within the fire area with heavy slash. 07/25/2015 1830 CA-ENF Kyburz fire: 200 acres, 75% contained. Minimal fire activity observed today. 07/25/2015 1830 CA-LNU Wragg fire: 6,900 acres, 55% contained. All evacuation orders have been lifted. Terrain and access to the south and south west portion of the fire is hampering containment efforts. 07/25/2015 1800 Effective immediately, North Ops is moving to Preparedness Level 3. 07/25/2015 1700 CA-NEU Lowell fire: 1,500 acres, 0% contained. Fire is making crown fire runs with long range spotting. Structures are threatened. Evacuations are in place north of Bear River. CAL FIRE IMT1 Team 1 has been activated for this incident. 07/25/2015 1517 CA-NEU Lowell fire: 100 acres, 0% contained burning in timber. Fire is located 2 miles northwest of Gold Run. Rapid rates of spread. Powerlines are threatened. 07/25/2015 0700 CA-HUU Queen fire: 200 acres, 0% contained. Total of 9 seperate fires burning in timber and slash near the community of Pekwan. Moderate fire behavior with short range spotting in steep and rugged terrain. 07/25/2015 0700 CA-ENF Kyburz fire: 200 acres, 30% contained. Voluntary evacuation remain in place from Sand Flat campground east to the community of Strawberry. Controlled traffic in place from Pollock Pines to Meyers. 07/25/2015 0700 CA-LNU Wragg fire: 6,900 acres, 47% contained. Fire continues to consume interior islands. Steep rugged terrain hampers control. Evacuations remain in place for Quail Canyon, Sackett Lane and local campgrounds. 07/24/2015 1815 CA-LNU Wragg fire: 6,900 acres, 30% contained. Highway 128 closure has been lifted. Evacuations remain in place for Quail Canyon, Sackett Lane and local campgrounds. 07/24/2015 1815 CA-ENF Kyburz fire: 200 acres, 30% contained. Mandatory evacuations in place from fire area east to Sand Flat campground and for the community of Sugarloaf have been lifted. Voluntary evacuations in place from Sand Flat campground east to the community of Strawberry. Escorted traffic has begun for Highway 50. 07/24/2015 1100 CA-ENF Kyburz fire: 200 acres, 30% contained. Highway closures and evacuations are still in place. 07/24/2015 0700 CA-LNU Wragg fire: 6,900 acres, 20% contained. Fire behavior has moderated with increased RH and cooler temperatures. Evacuations remain in place for Quail Canyon, Canyon Creek and Sackett Lane. 07/24/2015 0700 CA-MNF Kneecap fire: 7 acres 75% contained. Forward progress has been stopped. 07/24/2015 0700 CA-ENF Kyburz fire: 100 acres, 5% contained. Highway 50 remains closed remains closed Mandatory evacuations remain in place from east to Sand Flat Campground and for the community of Sugarloaf. 07/23/2015 1900 CA-ENF Kyburz fire: 100 acres, 0% contained. Highway 50 is closed from Pollock Pines to Meyers. 07/23/2015 1630 CA-ENF Kyburz fire: 60 acres, 0% contained. Mandatory evacuations east of the fire to Sand Flat Campground. Highway 50 closed from Sly Park to Meyers. 07/23/2015 1530 CA-LNU Wragg Fire: 6900 acres, 15% contained. Structure threat north of Highway 128 has diminished. 07/23/2015 1445 CA-ENF Kyburz fire: 20 acres, 0% contained. Burning in timber and brush. Highway 50 is closed in both directions. Fire is located 5 miles west of Kyburz in El Dorado county. 07/23/2015 1215 CA-NEU Baxter Fire: 30 acres, 80% contained. 07/23/2015 0840 CA-LNU Wragg Fire: 6000 acres, 5% contained. Evacuations are ongoing for Golden Bear Estates and Quail Canyon subdivision. 700 structures threatened, 1 structure (residence) damage. Extreme fire behavior with long range spotting. CALFIRE Type 1 Team IMT 6 (Estes) will assume command at 1800 hours today. 07/23/2015 0830 CA-MNF Kneecap Fire: 7 acres, 50% contained. 07/23/2015 0745 CA-MNF Kneecap Fire: 7 acres, 0% contained.
