Scientists to rethink the release of earthquake hazard maps

SAN ANTONIO - An uptick in earthquakes in Texas and Oklahoma recently has caused scientists to rethink when it releases earthquake hazard maps. The maps predicts where, how often, and how strong an earthquake may be. It's normally released every six years, but scientists said the 2014 map is already outdated. News 4 San Antonio meteorologist Mike Hernandez digs deeper into those maps.
