[californiadisasters] On This Date In California Weather History (June 22)



2008: Gusty winds helped to fuel a wildfire in Santa Clara County named the Hummingbird and Whitehurst Fire.
The fire burned for four days burning 1,056 acres.

1961: Searing heat: highs of 117° F at Friant Dam and 114° F at Ash Mountain (Southern Sierra).
