[californiadisasters] Red Flag Warning Extended - Southern Sierra/Tehachapis (12/30/13-PM)



...RED FLAG WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM PST TUESDAY FOR  VERY LOW HUMIDITIES FOR THE KERN COUNTY MOUNTAINS...    * AFFECTED AREA...FIRE WEATHER ZONE 295 KERN COUNTY MOUNTAINS.    * WINDS...EAST 5 TO 15 MPH WITH LOCAL GUSTS UP TO 20 MPH.    * TIMING...THROUGH 10 AM PST TUESDAY.    * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...SINGLE DIGITS IN SEVERAL LOCATIONS    CONTINUING THIS EVENING AND WILL RECOVER ONLY INTO THE TEENS TO    MID 20S TONIGHT AND INTO TUESDAY MORNING.    * IMPACTS...IF FIRE IGNITION OCCURS THERE COULD BE RAPID SPREAD    AND EXTREME BEHAVIOR WITH THREAT TO LIFE AND PROPERTY.    PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...    A RED FLAG WARNING MEANS THAT CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS  ARE EITHER OCCURRING NOW...OR WILL SHORTLY. A COMBINATION OF LOW  RELATIVE HUMIDITY AND WARM TEMPERATURES CAN CONTRIBUTE TO EXTREME  FIRE BEHAVIOR. PLEASE ADVISE THE APPROPRIATE OFFICIALS OR FIRE  CREWS IN THE FIELD OF THIS RED FLAG WARNING.
