CA-SRF Corral Complex: 11,828 acres, 17% contained. Expected containment 10/1. Unified Command (Joseph/Jackson). Creeping and backing fire behavior observed with some open flame in the heavier ground fuels. There was minimal fire spread overnight. Southwest area of the fire will continue with line constructions and improvement of indirect dozer line. North area of the fire will continue with direct handline construction from Bear Hold to Bret Corral. Northeast area will construct direct line from H-2 on Trinity Mountain to both the north and south. There is a community event scheduled in Willow Creek this Saturday.

CA-TGU Deer Fire: 11,429 acres, 98% contained. Expected containment 8/29. CAL FIRE IMT 1 (Cone). The fire remained within current containment lines overnight. Firefighters will continue to improve all handlines. Mop up will continue to provide black line depth to reduce the threats of spots across containment lines. Hand crews will need rotary wing support to shuttle personnel to and from the fire. Fire suppression repair continues.

CA-TNF American Fire: 26,194 acres, 98% contained. Expected containment 8/29. IMT 1 (Opliger). Fire growth potential has greatly diminished with successful firing operations. Backing fire implemented by crews should merge completely into the main body of the fire near Mosquito Ridge during today's operational shift. No appreciable fire activity found on the remaining areas of the fire. Active and agressive mop up continues. Implementation of the Suppression Repair Plan continues.

CA-SRF Butler Fire: 21,217 acres, 45% contained. Expected containment 9/15. IMT 2 (Minton). High relative humidity kept the fire limited to smoldering in heavy interior fuels. All divisions continue to repair fire line, mopping up where possible and backhauling excess equipment. Strategic operations plan report points to a long term fire event as the fire burns within indirect containment lines. NorCal Team 2 (Johnson) will assume command at 1800 hours today.

CA-Salmon Complex: 14,720 acres, 95% contained. Expected containment 8/30. IMT 2 (Minton). Firefighters continue to mop up, patrol and repair hand lines. Suppression repair continues.
