White Fire, CA-LPF 1473, Vegetation Fire,

Paradise Rd 4 mi. E. of Hwy 154, Santa Barbara County.

850 acres, 10% contained.

Paradise Road has been evacuated. Ty 2 team (Nunez) ordered.

Banner Grade Area, Riverside County.

700 acres, 5% contained.

 

Generally below average temps today over much of the GACC, but gusty northerly winds of 20 to 30 mph will surface over the Santa Ynez Mountains eastward into the I-5 corridor during the next few nights. In addition, strong westerly winds of 20 to 30 mph will be common across the Tehachapi Range, the Antelope Valley eastward into the Mojave Desert, and through the Beaumont/Banning Pass during the afternoons through Wednesday. There will be a slight chance of showers north of a line from Monterey to Fresno tonight.
