Old 2 Fire, Fire is now 995 acres, 95% contained. Mop up and patrol.

 

Grapevine Fire, CA-KRN-18491, 225 acres, 90% contained.

Grapevine Fire, CA-KRN-18491, Kern County. Edmonston Pumping Plant Rd. 1 mi. E of Interstate 5.

213 acres, 90% contained.

 

Old 2 Fire, CA-MVU-6329, 4 miles east of Campo. Fire is now 995 acres, 95% contained. No projected movement or spread.

SEQUOIA NATIONAL FOREST – The George Fire burned more than 1700 acres since it began on June 1, 2012 near the George Bush Tree in the Giant Sequoia National Monument, Sequoia National Forest.  Freeman Creek Trail, the Lloyd Meadow Road, and both Forks of the Kern and Jerkey Meadow Trailheads were reopened today.
