RE: [californiadisasters] California Zephyr Derailment Friday



Curious why people are entering a tilting/unstable(?) rail car to get luggage. Property is not worth it, IMHO.

Photos of Amtrak #6's derailment west of Benkelman, NE, following a collision with a crane that apparently did not permission to be on railroad property... For those associated with Operation Lifesaver, this is an excellent reason why we present the Rail Safety for Emergency Responders classes.
