Dann Shively Ends Longtime Career As KCRA Pilot

Dann Shively, pilot and news broadcaster for KCRA (Channel 3), flew in the station's helicopter and reported over the roar of the rotary blades one last time Friday.

He has, over the past 40 years, flown over the Sacramento region and Northern California, reporting from above on levee breaks, earthquakes, fires and, just this week, a tornado.
