Re: [Geology2] Colleges Offering Geosciences Degrees

West coast. - cal tech
East coast - mit, rpi

Had to include my school, but rpi is not big for seismology, but great in computer modeling.

Subject: [Geology2] Colleges Offering Geosciences Degrees

If anyone is interested the following site, http://orgs.usd.edu/esci/geodepts.html, has a decent listing of colleges from the US and Canada that offer Geosciences degrees.  This site has been a big help as my wife and I are looking to move elsewhere in the next couple of years and we are trying to match her profession of student support services in a college environment with my interest in transferring colleges and majoring in Geosciences with an eventual concentration towards seismology.

If anyone has advice on which colleges are "best" in a Geosciences with a seismology concentration, don't hesitate to respond as any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
