Initial Attack Activity was light in the GACC yesterday with 9 fires for 0 acres reported in the Daily Situation Report, (there may be a 24-hour delay in reporting on the SIT report).

There are 4 small fires being managed to achieve multiple objectives (ENF).
Reported yesterday were 26 prescribed fires for 1,434 acres.

Building high pressure will lead to dry and warmer weather through midday Wednesday. A Pacific cold front will move into the coastal mountains from Sonoma County north to OR by Wednesday evening and become stationary. Clouds and S winds will increase there Wednesday afternoon, and rain is possible by sunset. Other areas will continue to have fair and mild weather through midday Friday. The front will finally move through the North Ops area with widespread rain, and snow above 7000 ft, Friday night through early Sunday. Snow levels will drop on Sunday to 4000 ft in the north and 6000 ft in the south as showers continue after the front moves through.

The monthly fire potential outlook for November (as well as the outlook for December through February) will show normal for Northern California and above normal for the west side of all islands in Hawaii.
