Initial Attack Activity was light in the GACC yesterday with 0 fires for 0 acres reported in the Daily Situation Report.  Reported yesterday were 14 prescribed fires for 268 acres.

Showers are still possible near the OR state line through early Tuesday, with snow levels 4000-5000 ft, but the majority of the North Ops region will see a drying and warming trend with mostly clear to partly cloudy skies. Other than a few gusts at higher elevations winds will be fairly light through Tuesday. On Wednesday the next Pacific cold front will reach the coast with wind and rain showers, with snow levels above 6000 ft. The front will spread inland during the afternoon and evening with scattered showers. More rain, at times heavy, will spread across the region Thursday with snow levels dropping to 4500-6000 ft. After a brief break in the rainy weather Friday another wet system will move through the North Ops region on Saturday.

Initial Attack Activity was light in the GACC yesterday with 2 fires for 0 acres reported in the Daily Situation Report, (there may be a 24-hour delay in reporting on the SIT report).  

On Monday showers and much lighter winds will prevail, followed by drier weather Tuesday and Wednesday. Another wet system will approach the coast Thursday with more precip for the Geographic Area starting with the NW coast Thursday then elsewhere Friday. Another system expected behind that one will make for another wet weekend across North Ops. Temperatures will remain seasonable for the most part and RH quite high through the week. Significant precipitation was recorded in all Predictive Services Areas - RAWS totals show less than 1/2 inch to 10+ inches of rain recorded over the weekend
