Re: [Geology2] Radar map of the Venusian surface



You are not likely seeing true colors but rather a "colorized" version done so in order that you may distinguish landform anomalies on the planet's surface. I assume that water on Venus is unlikely but cannot rule it out entirely either.

For some reason I thought Venus had a very heavy gas atmosphere, hard to see the surface.. but there are blue and green areas like water and land. hmm. Allison
